Yeti Buyers Beware

We have reason to believe that several shipments of counterfeit YETI products have been introduced into our local stream of commerce. Please pay close attention to the products you are purchasing and make sure that you are only purchasing name brand items from a trusted source. Check for proper labeling and licensing information, as well as other identifying information that makes a product unique to a particular company.

Inferior items may be found in improper packaging, such as white boxes, and have inferior markings that can be seen in the stamped lettering on the product. Counterfeit items will generally be an inferior product design as well, which may cause paint to scratch off easily, liquids to leak, or temperature changes of contents which are inconsistent with licensed YETI products.

If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. If you have concerns about products you may have purchased locally, please contact the Office of the Attorney General’s Office of Consumer Counsel at (670) 237-7500.
