Online Student Complaint

OCC IS HERE TO HELP

Most students receive a quality education and have a generally positive experience.  In the event, however, that a resident of the CNMI enrolled in an online program at a public or private college or university physically located in another state believes the institution’s administrative processes or educational programs are compromised, the Office of the Consumer Counsel (OCC) should be notified.  A complaint may be filed in writing by visiting our website and completing the online form.  You may also contact our office directly by phone or email at:

CNMI Office of the Attorney General
Office of the Consumer Counsel
2nd Floor, Juan A. Sablan Memorial Building

WHAT TO EXPECT

On behalf of CNMI student residents, OCC will evaluate complaints, identify the appropriate accrediting agency or government entity to handle the complaint, and request a response from the entity regarding the final disposition of the complaint.

ABOUT THE OFFICE OF THE CONSUMER COUNSEL

The Office of the Consumer Counsel (OCC) promotes and protects the interests of CNMI consumers while ensuring a competent and fair marketplace.  If you would like to file a consumer complaint, you can download the form, fill out a Complaint online, pick up a copy at our Capital Hill office, or request for one by email from consumer_counsel@cnmioag.org.  After completing the consumer complaint, submit it by email or in-person.
